Journal Article 1403 05 01 <p>This article examines the role of the most prominent regional organizations in combating economic corruption and asserts that regional organizations can contribute to this endeavor through various mechanisms. These include promoting cooperation and the exchange of information among member states, providing technical and financial assistance, advancing anti-corruption norms and values, and facilitating regional cooperation in the areas of investigation and prosecution. The article focuses on four key examples of regional institutions engaged in anti-corruption efforts, while acknowledging that regional initiatives are not limited to these cases alone. However, it also highlights that the multiplicity of regional instruments and institutions—some of which may overlap or even conflict with one another—can itself pose a barrier to the effective implementation of anti-corruption measures. The article argues that such regionalism in the fight against corruption should ideally move toward greater global convergence centered on the United Nations Convention against Corruption.</p> <p>این مقاله به بررسی نقش مهمترین سازمان‌های منطقه‌ای در مبارزه با فساد اقتصادی می‌پردازد و اذعان می‌دارد که سازمان‌های منطقه‌ای می‌توانند از طریق روش‌های مختلفی به این امر کمک کنند، از جمله ترویج همکاری و تبادل اطلاعات بین کشورهای عضو، ارائه کمک‌های فنی و مالی، ترویج هنجارها و ارزش‌های ضد فساد، تسهیل همکاری‌های منطقه‌ای در زمینه تحقیقات و پیگرد قانونی. در این مقاله به چهار نمونه از مهمترین نهادهای منطقه‌ای که در حوزه مبارزه با فساد اقتصادی مشغولند، پرداخته شده است و این بدان معنا نیست که تلاش‌های منطقه‌ای محدود به همین موارد است. اما نکته آن است که این تعدد اسناد و نهادهای منطقه‌ای که در برخی موارد هم‌پوشانی و یا در مواردی می‌توانند متعارض یکدیگر باشند، خود می‌تواند مانعی بر سر تحقق دقیق مبارزه با فساد باشد و بهتر آن است که این منطقه‌گرایی در مبارزه با فساد، به سمت همگرایی هرچه بیشتر جهانی حول محور کنوانسیون سازمان ملل متحد برای مقابله با فساد حرکت کند.</p> https://www.jecjl.com/index.php/jecjl/article/download/153/116
